Our interest in dogs began when we were both very young. Kyle's first dog was a border collie named Sandy, "Kemlace Red Sally UD". At that stage, Kyle's main interest in dogs revolved around obedience training. Sandy gained her Utility Dog title and along the way enabled Kyle to gain much knowledge in regards to temperament and training.

Erin's first dog was an associate register golden retriever named Zoe UD. Zoe's exuberance and enthusiasm required much effort to come under control. This effort was rewarded in Zoe's first year of trialling when she gained the novice bitches NSW State Obedience Titles gold medallion. Zoe has had much success at Sydney Royal Obedience trials, plaicng numerous times. She has gone on to obtain her Utility Dog title and continued competing with enthusiasm and a "happy-go-lucky" attitude.

The purchase of "Doc" a labrador named Aust Ch Driftway Southern Impact UD represented Kyle and Erin's entrance into the show ring side of the dog world. With Doc, Erin and Kyle achieved success in both the show ring and the obedience ring. Some of these success include Runner-Up Best In Show at the October 2001 NSW Labrador show, highest score in Utility in trial at the 2002 Labrador National, and a Sydney Royal placing in the Utility class. Doc also competed in gundog working tests.

After enjoying competing with Doc in two aspects of the dog world, Kyle and Erin set their sights on breeding dual purpose dogs who would be able to enjoy success in both the obedience ring and the show ring.

Since then Kyle and Erin have trained further dogs in the obedience ring and showed other dogs to gain their Australian Champion titles. Kyle is an ANKC dog obedience judge. We are both instructors at the Illawarra Dog Training Club.

We have a select number of golden retrievers and labradors in our yard which we show, train in obedience, and compete whenever possible. We strive to produce dogs which enhance the reputations of these great breeds.

We breed on a limted basis. each breeding is planned very carefully as at least one of the puppies have to represent the breed in show or obedience, as well as future generations.

Our dogs are health tested extensively prior to breeding. All breeding stock hold hip and elbow certificates, and clear eye and heart certificates.

We live in Bargo, a one hour drive southwest of Sydney in NSW, Australia.
